Some friends of mine from Tennessee  are going to be in Saint Louis in April.   I'm in the KC area so not familiar with the area.
They will be staying at an air b&b in the Lindenwood Park area.  Fyler Ave, Watson road.   Anything to be concerned about?   They plan on doing the Zoo and Arch.  They CCW and I told them about Arch being Fed property.   Last I saw posted is that the Zoo is no firearms but no metal detectors.  Don't park on the streets and just keep situational awareness.   They don't plan on being out at night.
Anything else to tell them?
Thanks
Vince

Not a great area, but it ain't north stl. Basics of watching yourself apply.

In April I would also highly suggest going to see the botanical gardens. One of the best in the country.

Lol. It is a federal park. You can carry anywhere outside on the grounds, but you can't step foot inside armed.
Don't even try.... Federal park = federal park rangers and they are pretty serious. You would be in cuffs once discovered.

FWIW, a recent study found the Gateway Arch to be the safest national park in America. I'm sure there are lots of explanations for that.

Rats want to scurry out of sight, and the arch is in a wide open area.

Plus, no pesky death by dehydration like the Grand Canyon.
