Anyone know of a spot? Anyone want to try to get something together for locals? Maybe make it a monthly get together?

I'd be interested if someone has NODS for me
Only place I know who did these types of shoots is New Holland but I dunno if they still have them and if they would do a non member shoot. http://www.nhrpc.org/event-810438 |

I’ve been on the wait list for 3.5yrs and the new lottery doesn’t work for me as I have no time to goto events |

If you guys put something together let me know. Delaware is dead as well and SE PA is close enough to join in.

I'm in the wrong corner of the state, but my range allows shooting until 11.
The ir from the security cameras can be a little annoying sometimes, but its better than not shooting at all. Hitting 300 yard steel that you cant even see unaided is pretty cool. If you're ever around Pittsburgh and want to shoot in the dark IM me. |
|
I work at a indoor range part time and we shoot using nods probably once a month. Its only 25 yards max but its still trigger pulling. My boss might be interested in hosting an event if theres enough interest.

Looks like something is going to get spooled up at University Rifle Club out near Reading. But for now it is members only or you have to be a guest of a member.

I know Guardian Training Center in Warminster has “night shoots” indoors. Not sure if they do NV but wouldn’t hurt to ask

Quoted: @slbrugby I don't know. I was kind of the precipitating push in that happening. I've been talking to a few members who went and pitched the idea to the Board. I can try to get more information about that for sure. I'm going to end up joining as a member. View Quote |

Sounds like University Rifle Club is hosting a night shoot for menbers only this Saturday. Hopefully it's a sign of more things to come! I'm looking forward to it, especially since my binos arrived a week or two ago!

I got home from the shoot a few moments ago. I enjoyed it and look forward to (hopefully) several more in the next couple of months. A big thanks to the people who made it happen!
We had some univited guests who made their way theough the tree line. Attached File Had a decent crowd show up. Only about a third having wizard eyes, but I expect that number to grow. Attached File Attached File New build ran well. Attached File I was worried that they would cancel due to weather, but they held it anyway (thankfully!). Weather wasn't bad during the shoot, although range conditions weren't perfect. Attached File |

awesome, nice photos. Did you keep your nvg on most of the time with all of the white light being thrown around? How many runs did you get in?
May try and convince one of you guys let me be your guest for the day on one of the next shoot |

Bump to remind (or inform) people that University Rifle Club will be holding another night shoot on January 11th. Shooting with flashlights is a worthwhile skill, but seeing in the dark is even better. I want more people with night vision to spread this expensive sickness!

For you guys that have been a couple of times, what do you think of the club overall? It's 90 minutes from me but I'd love to get access to 300 yards, night shoots, etc. Does anyone know if there are work day requirements or is it only the annual fee?
Thanks! |

University added a work requirement for 10 hours last year, but reduced it to 5 hours this year. Either way you could buy out for $50.
They have various styles of competitions throughout the year. Overall I think it's one of the better ranges in the area for the money, especially if you like shooting steel. |
