with this Palmetto Arms pistol kit ($260 shipped for everything but a lower) and the KAK Shockwave Blade (supplied) the line between pistols and sbr's is getting pretty hazy.
no rear sights, add a buis, or in my case a cheap carry handle and you're done. 
you can see it extends out farther than any fixed stock. it had a allen screw that needed a wrench, i put a thumbscrew on it, but that MAY be a no no. 
depending on your deal finding fu you could be in this for less than $300. |

Not very long ago I built my first AR pistol after I saw the new adjustable 'arm brace', its a Wylde chamber in 5.56, 9.75" bbl as I recall, its on top, a standard 16" carbine is on the bottom for comparison.
Recently I saw the new Palmetto Arms 9mm AR pistol, with a dedicated 9mm specific upper and lower, uses Glock mags. 
Finally, for comparison, the carbine and the pistol stocks fully extended.

Yeah I just checked out a freinds PSA build today and ordered the free shipped kit today for $260, already have a lower and a spare sight, holy mackerel what a deal!

I built myself a pistol with the SBA3 brace and love it. Looking to add a 300 BO upper to the kit now. Only if the Hearing Protection Act would have passed I would have the ultimate kit.
