With the threaded barrel, is the Ruger American rifle verboten here?
 Don't see a non-threaded version on their web-site--unlike their PCC which comes in all sorts of variations to satisfy the "ban" states. . . |

Threaded barrels are legal on bolt action rifles in NYS.
