I haven't had a Reuben since moving here almost a year ago .
Where are some good , deli type places or anywhere else I read the Culvers post today now I want one !

Saddle Mountain Brewing Company has a damn good rueben. Try their "Rachel" as well.
The other night I tried a smoked brisket reuben from Red's in Litchfield Park that was great too. |

Nope I haven't been there .
I tried an Arbys reuben today and I liked it better than Culvers , my Arby's had horsey sauce , ummm . |

JD Campbells has a good Reuben. Their wings are my favorite though.

Check your local bar, Good Time Charlies on Chandler and Kyrene is pretty good, otherwise I like Chompies.

Love Scott's Generations and Miracle Mile. Huuuge sammies..
BUT, sometimes I don't want thick slicked bread and I want more corned beef flavoring in the meat than I get there.. Not popular but for a Reuban flavor, I'm looking for nomrally sliced Rye and a good helping (not piles but enough) of corned beef or pastrami where that flavor comes thru. That said, one of my current favorites is the Well Done Grill at Canyon Lake Marina.. No...the don't make thier own corned beef, texas toast or anything like that. It's just a really good well balanced simple Reuben on two slices of normal sandwich rye. Restaurant corned beef to me, in general, tends to be rather bland. Every now and then I find a place where it's really great... |
