What: Redwolf 2 Gun Challenge
Where: Angry Emu Range When: 12/04/2022 10AM - safety meeting/stage planning, overnight camping on Saturday night for those interested There will be 5 stages which are generally created with input from everyone. At a minimum a pistol, rifle, ammo, & spare mags is generally all you need. Holsters, slings, & mag pouches are handy though. Ranges for pistols are generally 10-25 yards & 50-200 yards for rifles. 2-3 pistol (15rd mags) & 1-2 rifle mags (30rd mags) is usually enough to get through a stage. Round counts have been fairly low lately. Stages can include running, barriers, reloads, & other fun challenges we come up with as the day goes on. Feel free to ask any questions or offer suggestions. Participants: MisterTwo YaBoyKGTho grey50beast +1 swolliepop RattleCanAR FlyJS41 IHTFP08 GAshooter11 |

Just keep in mind you may have to run & maneuver with it. Just about everyone has brought an AR15 FYI. Unless it's a torrential downpour or thunderstorms, we'll definitely be there. And thanks for the offer to bring food swolliepop. It will definitely be appreciated by everyone. |

For anyone wanting to follow this and get some stage ideas. Bring your CCW rigs, I know we've talked about doing a CCW stage with carry guns. https://highgroundshooter.com/2019/10/30/developmental-drill-1-through-5-drill/ I like this one, and either reload rifle and shoot 2x or transition to pistol but we need some paper: 3x USPSA Silhouette Targets (alternatively you can use any “body type” targets that denote center mass/head zones) Spacing: Two meter separation between targets Firing Line: 5 yard line – the premise of this drill is to emphasize a close quarters environment Ammo: One magazine loaded with 15x rounds Start Position: Low Ready (rifle is shouldered but muzzle should be pointed at the feet or base of the target) Course of Fire: At the command (or beep if using a shot timer) the shooter will engage targets right to left, then left to right in the following sequence: T1: 1 round T2: 2 rounds T3: 3 rounds T2: 4 rounds T1: 5 rounds Time for Record: Level 1: 2.87 seconds or less (this was Lamb’s time doing the drill) Level 2: 2.88 – 3.5 seconds Level 3: 3.6 – 4.5 seconds Penalties: If using a USPSA or similar type target w/shot timer – 1 second for each round outside of the A Zone. |

Will there be a shot timer there? Last time I was there we hand timed.
My G26 is a 10/12 round gun. Can the CCW stage keep that in mind? I am bringing a case and a half of MREs to lend a field condition feel to it. |

It's about improvement and learning, not the top score. Nick isn't going to DQ you for something like that, just don't do something sketch like point your gun at yourself or whatever. That's what I tell myself at least, I ain't winning shit |

Wouldn't hurt to have to reload. I also carry my P07 when in ATL, so I could always use that as the cheat code |

One weekend we had I think 4 guys (including myself) w/ the same blue shot timer but none of us had any experience actually using them. |
