Anybody have a recommendation for a good taxidermist in NE Ohio? Close to Medina would be a plus.

Kulis Freeze Dry in Bedford does good work but a little pricey. I'm looking for someone in the same area as you for pelts and mounts.

Diedricks does high quality work.
Lead times are long, though.
What are you getting done?

That's where I ended up taking it. Jim seems like a good guy to deal with. He went over different options and such for my mount and it looks like he does good work from what I've seen.

Wagner's did recommend Dave Heir in Nova as another option.

I may have to check him out. What is his average turn around time? I took a deer to a guy who does great work but damn does he take forever.

ETA: Messaged him through Facebook. He's swamped right now which is not surprising as it's the end of the season.

Jim told me around a year. He said he didn't take in any fish or small game so he could hopefully get all the deer done before next season.
