I feel like the last month has been unbearable heat and humidity or cold and rainy.

We got 5-1/4" yesterday - that on top of the 5-1/2"+ (gauge ran over) we got about a week ago. It pretty much all soaked in, as there isn't much for standing water around.

I'll trade you dried up corn for multiple leaking roofs. The rain has been like a shock treatment to everything that was extremely dried up.

The weeds aren't even growing in my yard, and the grass is looking very brown. Looks like only one cutting of hay down here this year. 15 miles south has had rain, and 20 miles north, the same. The rain has sure been odd, didn’t get any for a month and now it rains every other day for a month
