As we begin to thaw out over the next couple of days, I'm going to assume there's going to be busted pipes.  Just in case, I was wondering if anyone has a plumber they recommend in the Frisco area of town? The last time my water heaters went out and I had to get them replaced urgently, it cost me an arm and a leg.

thanks

I live in Frisco and these guys are great. Replaced both my water heaters and did some misc. work. Very reasonable and professional.

I don’t have any recommendations for a plumber but anyone that is going to try and do their own work better get to a hardware store and buy anything they think they may need now.  The crowds in the plumbing section at the Home Depot I was at today were insane.

I would think they are going to be out of everything soon.

At this point, you're best bet will be whoever can come out first.

I’ve used Lex’s Plumbing several times and would recommend them.  One thing I really like is they do such a neat, organized job that it makes it easy to work on yourself if you have to.

I think every plumber is going to be busy for a while. I saw an ad on Craigslist looking for master plumbers to START a company doing plumbing repairs from this freeze.

If it's an easy to access area and copper, I can fix it.  For beer money.

Not sure if they will go that far but I know a guy from Pope plumbing (Rockwall). They are good dudes but aren't cheap.

The trick will be finding all the leaks.  You guys might have to patch up what you see then put 30 psi of air in the system and watch a gauge.
