This bill is a thinly disguised impediment to licensing in that renewal requires eight hours of training at six months prior to CCW license expiration and requires fingerprints to remain on file in perpetuity. It further limits the providers of said training to "...state, county, or municipal law enforcement instructors or "a nationally recognized organization that promotes gun safety." No law enforcement agency is prepared to provide eight hours of instruction to the general public.
