Perhaps if he doesn't like people not giving their children vaccines he should move to a blue state.

The phrase "trust the science" seems to require faith in a belief system and its appointed leaders, rather than focusing on the scientific process itself. However, it's worth noting that this new religion hasn't yet withstood the test of time, so it might be more accurately described as a cult. The irony.
