Delauro introduced her own (or similar version) in the House in addition to the two gungrabbers senate version.

H.R.748 - To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to require the safe storage of firearms, and for other purposes.

Its fucking sickning how they are using the suicide of Ethan Song to pimp their gun grabbing bills. They have to cover up the facts of that incident and hope the sheep don't realize or learn exactly how that kid died.

Quoted:

"Safe storage laws can’t be proactively enforced without the police going into homes to check on compliance, and I don’t think even Chris Murphy or Richard Blumenthal are willing to publicly embrace that idea."

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Those two likely have no problem with gestapo like enforcement of any gun law they dream up.

I was right up the street and saw the ambulance go flying by with Ethan in it, def a tragedy, but they will never point the finger at Ethan.  Blame everyone else and infringe on everyone because the kid done something stupid.  Like the Sandy Hook parents, the Songs profited heavily, now have a horse property for their foundation on Long Hill Rd, and they bought a million dollar house in Sachems Head.

Bloomie, Murphy and DeLauro are a joke.  What have any of them done for this state?  Bloomie and Murphy are always photographed together.  Can't they work on their own?  Why do we pay for two of them?  DeLauro is the reason we need term limits.  None of them do anything for the state.  They are reactive, not proactive.  You see them on tv responding to stuff, not thinking for themselves on ways to improve this state.  Who is the one that wants to put a tax on ammo now?  2 cents on anything 22 and under and 5 cents PER ROUND on everything larger than 22?  WTF?

Rep. Jillian Gilchrest, D-West Hartford, has introduced legislation that would create a new tax on ammunition, with the money raised going toward local gun violence prevention programs.

Gilchrest’s proposed bill calls for a 2 cent per round tax on ammunition that is .22 caliber or smaller and a 5 cent per round tax on all other rounds of ammunition.
