I’ll be in the OBX for the first time in 15 years with some extended family
I have a citation hanging on my wall for an exceptionally sized fish from the OBX like 25yrs ago and I’d like to relive the good ol days 
Can you help a tourist out? I’m thinking early morning surf fishing would be great. We’ll be there last week in July I’ll have my kids (4-8) that enjoy lake fishing here in CO |

I think the plan is to fly into Raleigh vs DC, not bought tickets yet. Two of my uncles would drive so they’d be bringing poles and any tackle. |

Go to TW’s and get a 10 day license. They are $12 I think.

If you pier fish, piers license usually covers you (hence your pier fee)
