So i have an early C4 corvette that has shims to adjust the front control arms.

I'm having a hell of a time finding a good shop that's willing to deal with these things.

So far i tried ken garff Buick GMC in riverdale, but i got a "tech" on audio via my dash camera clearly doing work avoidance to get out of the job.
It's very colorful...

I'm willing to drive into SLC for a good shop.

Alignment Specialists. Immediately north of the 201, just east of the 215.

Only auto mx place in Utah that I have had 100% success with. They do everything from semis to motor homes to lowered ricers. Alignment is all they do, like the name states.

Thank you!
I had another respond with the same place (vette forum).
Sounds like they are my new shop!

I was gonna tell you to go to Burt brothers but I have an 06 ford five hundred with a quarter mil miles on it. So I think we are talking different levels of service.

I think this is the place I took my Challenger to about 17 years ago when I was racing it out in Nevada.  They did a good job.  Set it just like I wanted it.

Everyone else I've dealt with not so much.  I think Firestone has gone out of business in Utah and if so good.  Just terrible.

I was told that the alignment specialist was about $145 for a customized alignment from one vette owner.
I'm replacing an inner tierod (pita on a c4 vette!), but i plan on making an appointment next week.

I was told they are the shit, and can even do an alignment on trailers.

Anyone that deals with that GMC dealer, i have a recording i will happily share.

I shared it with the service manager (Mr. Allred) yesterday, but it sounds like little will be done due to a "technician shortage".
In short, prices may wildly vary from what the "set" price shows.
The audio from my dash cam was very enlightening...

Whenever we couldn't get something aligned at Big-O, we sent it to Sid's in Springville. He's the best.
