Doesn't show up on this thread topic for me. On other threads, such as some of the clone ones, I see "Reply", "New Topic", "Subscribe". On this one I only get Reply and New Topic. Odd.

Jan 8th is set in stone now.
Since there were a bunch of new shooters (which is awesome) at the last shoot, the club is requiring new folks to shoot a dot torture so they can judge gun handling safety. Also, if it's your first time they are asking to show up early (around 3:30~4:00) to fill out a waiver. If you've never shot a dot torture, you'll need 50 rounds of pistol ammo & mags. This is the target, shooting from around 5 yards. 
The drill will look similar to this but it'll still be light out.

Wife and I have been down with the Shanghai Shivers this week/weekend so just now realizing that the shoot is this weekend. Looks like my fever is finally gone, so hoping to be able to come out Saturday.

Well good thing I went to the range with the gun this weekend. tried 3 of my Okay mags that worked fine in my 11.5 and they failed miserably. Same failure to feed problems. Went home and got 6 Gen2 PMAGs and it ran flawlessly.
Something going on with those mags. Good thing I tested before coming out to this weekend.

Whatever gps your using should get you there easily, after you pass the gate, right at the crossroad will take you to the lower lot, left to the upper. Also, you’re first time shooting with your nods, frickin awesome. This shoot should be perfect for you to try out your gear. |

I was hoping to make it tonight but I was running a fever last night.
I was even more pumped because its super cold today. I enjoy seeing what gear works in the cold too and what doesn't. I can't believe some of you drive 3 or more hours to come to these shoots. This is my normal club and it takes me about 15 minutes to get there. Cudos to you travelers. |
