Hey Mainers, PA resident here.

I was up in Waldarboro in 2013 for deer and I recall my PA carry permit being valid.

But I guess you guys now have Constitutional Carry (as we all should, PA hasn’t gotten that memo yet) and I am unsure how that now works as far as me legally being allowed to carry concealed if I come up for deer season this year.

I was reading Maine no longer honors the PA carry permit so I’m unsure how that all works with Constitutional Carry.

Like I’m not sure if the law specifically means “no concealed carry for PA residents” or if it means that it doesn’t matter so long as I am otherwise legally able to carry in Maine.

I'm pretty sure you're good to go but Bern is the man you seek.
There's a few restrictions such as notifying an LEO on contact etc.
But AFAIK if you're legal to own then you're legal to CC.

Without a permit if you get pulled over you must notify the police that you have a firearm.

With a permit you do not have to inform them and you can also carry additional places such as acadia national park.

What NRA classes satisfy the learning requirements, would I have to (re)take Basic Pistol or would Home Firearm Safety work?
