My company has been asked to complete a job in Hawaii.  Unfortunately, we are being told that travel from the mainland is not allowed.  According to travel agent, you have to fly into Hawaii,  be quarantined for 2 -4 weeks , complete a physical, and multiple COVID tests.  Clearly, this information cannot be accurate.  The costs of complying with these requirements will be huge.  And getting management to sign off on a job that takes a couple of days isn't going to happen if there is a 2 week vacation/quarantine tacked onto it at company expense.

So what is the real story here?
