He's my county's  sheriff. Been a supporter of him since he first ran. Have listened to him talk at meetings more than a few times. He's a real 2A and Constitution supporter. This state needs more like him.

Pete is good people.  Probably not conservative "enough" for GD but much better than our last sheriff and you are 100% right about his work with the pistol permits.  I've been trying to get him to start waiving fees for people wanting to have their middle name added to their permit card to match their drivers licenses, since the big box stores and Denvers seem to be heavily on that now.  Currently they charge $20-30 (can't remember the exact number right this second) to reprint your card.

Charging that to "reprint" is bullshit because they reprint your entire card when you do an amendment, including adding the (illegal) LTPSAR to the Licenses number (licenses to purchase semi automatic rifle) and they changed the amendment forms to reflect (2) additions and (1) subtraction per $3.00 form which is also bullshit.
I've got to have a sit-down with Judge Renzy to iron some of this out as the Clerks in the Office window seem to be making their own rules as they go along...One in particular "You HAVE TO have a receipt from a Dealer before we can take it off." well guess what, the Dealer I sold it to in Alabama didn't give me one, and I haven't got the pistol anymore, and really don't give a fuck if it's on there or not.
