Welcome!
 Don't live in Black Hawk County but daughter goes to UNI and is an assistant girls soccer coach for Waterloo Columbus the last two seasons so we get up to that area often...matter of fact I'll be going up tonight and Thursday night for games.

Thats cool, im just a few miles north and west of UNI...going to be cold sitting out tonight. Im pretty new to all this and thought what the heck. Are there reloaders and bolt gunners in here as well?

Welcome. Not Blackhawk, but I'm only an hour north in Chickasaw County. I do make it to Waterloo from time to time.
ETA-and yes I do reload and shoot some bolt actions. .22LR, .22-250 and .45-70 for bolt actions. |

I'm in Cedar Falls
Black hawk park is pretty clean, but it's full of morons Cedar Valley pistol club is great for outdoor pistol shooting Mr. Guns indoor range is nice and the staff is very helpful Washburn access is a fun place to shoot as well The real hidden gem is the range in Reinbeck |

I forgot about this thread. Our daughter graduated from UNI this year and had her internship at the Blackhawk Y there in Waterloo this past summer and was hired on full-time when the internship was over. She still lives in Cedar Falls but it's only a 5 minute drive to the Y in Waterloo.
