[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need beginner AR15 Training in Mass

I have a friend who needs a beginner/novice training class. I would train him myself but his rifle is illeagal in NY, and I don't have a hook up for the range time it would take. His rifle and magazines are preban. Suggestions?

My friend lives in CT so anywhere in Mass is doable. I need something that wll teach basic operation in a CQB format.

Sig academy in New Hampshire is your best bet for that kind of training in this part of the country. I don't know of anyone in MA that does that kind of training.

The Vickers class I took this summer was good. I know there is talk of another one in fall.
