Nadler Floor Statement for the Assault Weapons Ban Act

Well, if you want to "reward" him for his work to bring the ban to life, support Carolyn Maloney Granted she isn't pro-2A but Nadler made this his holy grail and he is in a primary that will eliminate either him or Maloney from Congress. Helping her win will send him into retirement.

Nalder is desperate because Maloney appears to be ahead of him in the primary.

Yes she has outraised him in funds and the polls, at least back in May, were in her favor. His supporters have been playing the race card as he is the last remaining Jewish member of the New York City congressional delegation (for some reason they do not count Schumer but he does hold statewide office) and one of the few Jewish members in a high ranking position.

The fact is the change in the make up reflects the huge change in NYC demographics.
