Guys in GD are saying get prepped for the inevitable ARF deplatform when AWS gets around to us.
Any interest in making a plan for place and time for NH Members to meet and trade contact info, should ARF go down? Update 1/24/21: While the OP in this case sucks and didn't show up to his own party, others more responsible did. Guys met, exchanged contact info and there's a NH list being compiled. If you'd like to be on the list, please indicate so in the thread and you'll be contacted via PM. I'm sorry I missed meeting yesterday, but I had some family items come up. Moving forward, I think it'd be cool to have another meet, once it warms up, maybe setup a shoot and/or a weekly/monthly Ham net for the Ham guys in the group. I can help anyone wanting to become a Ham Operator. I'm not an expert by any means, but I know a guys who are really good and can help. Thanks and sorry I missed you guys yesterday. |

ETA- maybe we should email each other our contact info through the sites email feature? |

I had a couple of ideas on this.
1. Have a time/place (could be simple as a parking lot outside a Dunkin Donuts somewhere), that we designate as a meeting spot on the first Saturday after ARF goes down 2. Same as 1, but dont wait for ARF to go down, do it more than once in case some guys can't meet on a particular day. 3. Not sure how many Ham Radios guys there are in the area, but we could utilize a ham meeting at a date/time on the air. 4. Some combination of all of above. Where info can travel via Ham net and then get to non-hams in regions where ham guys are? Just brainstorming ideas for discussion? Edit: Also should we make in regional to ME, VT, MA, etc, by linking this thread to other HTF? |

I'm out of the area right now with family, but if and when that changes, count me in.

How about if ARCOM goes down, we meet at Shooters Outpost in Hooksett on the following Saturday at 11:00 am?
Even if no one shows up. They might have some .22LR. |
|
I work most weekends and will attend if possible. Shooters outpost is a good spot. We could also make it the big theatre parking lot that's just down the road. Not many movies being shown these days.

|
While Shooters is a good suggestion for a 2a friendly meet enviroment, the only problem i see is the fact that the Shooters parking lot is packed full with cars lately and lack of parking might be issue. Are you guys thinking of indoor meets or outdoor ?

I didn't think it was going to be quite this fast, I can't make this Saturday.
(ar15.com isn't reachable from a good chunk of the country right now, looks like DNS is down) |

You guys feel free to pick a better spot, I kinda like the Movie Theater Lot Idea, or someplace where we can get a coffee while were there?
Unfortunately, this might actually be happening, so decide QUICK. Go Daddy can FOAD |

I'm in. I'm on the west side of the state, Upper Valley area.

Tilton Walmart is easy, right off major highway.
Should we plan a week from this Saturday, so as to give guys a chance to make plans or send a delegate? Sat, January 23 @ 12:00? If ARF really does go dark?? |
|
That works for me. Where in the lot to meet? Anybody know the layout?

Everyone should also set up a non descript tutanota email account to hand out.

Everyone take this seriously Yup. Works for me. It's a huge parking lot, and the south end is great. There MAY be some 18 wheelers parked there, maybe. Away from the store, and closest to the street. A group gathering there will be self-explanatory. I happen to have a magnetic BFL that I'll stick on the drivers door. Check it out with Google Earth. So, is Sat, 1/23 a go, or only if arf goes dark? And who is gonna collect names, emails, phone #'s etc.? Not me. |
|
I would say only if ARF goes dark.
The purpose of the 23rd was to give folks time in case it was happening NOW. Otherwise, we should plan for the 1st Sat after ARF goes dark?? I'm open to suggestions, I'm just winging it here. |

Can someone confirm the 23rd noon south wally world lot in tilton?

Can't make it myself, I am about 3hrs away on weekends.
I go by there though Monday through Friday if anyone local can meet up during the week to grab my contact info. Usually around 6 in the morning between 4 and 5 in the evening. |

I work weekends
But send me an email and Ill reply with contact info |

Haven't been very active here the past few years, but now with what's going on, I'm 100% in. Can't make it this Saturday, but I'll be sure to be at the next meet up.
Someone feel free to message me and I'll send my contact info over. I'm about 20 min West of Concord |

That said, probably isn't me either since I haven't really been around much and don't personally know much of anyone around here. Hopefully someone around here will be willing to take the lead I feel like it should be obvious, but for any outsiders reading this thread, no illegal or nefarious activities will take place or be discussed. I would imagine everyone here would agree. |

Sounds fun but I am not showing up to anything posted on this board.
You wont catch me at some gathering Mr ATF... |

I will drive by and maybe even stop if the Feds aren't there with flashing lights. I will be the guy in the pickup truck.

We could make a group on KeyBase. It's an encrypted communications app. It could be a good primary means of coordination if ARF went down with a physical meeting place like suggested as a backup.
EDI: I have a Ham license. Any other Ham's here? |
