I've reached out to 3 different ranges and found that the youngest they allow to use their range is 12. Are there any ranges in the South East area that allows young participants?

I took my son to Proud Lake when he was 8 or 9.  They never asked how old he was.

He's 26 now, so things may have changed.

Did you contact Downriver Guns? I know they run free youth firearm safety classes for ages 8-12. Not sure if 8 years old is as low as they go outside of the confines of the class, but I would ask them. Nice new range too.
