The restaurant scene in DSM is quite good. Almost too many to recommend. The market is very competitive and the weak players don't last long. Depends on where you're staying.

What kind of food do you like, do you like a large craft beer choice, AAA baseball, indoor shooting ranges w/machinegun rentals, bike trails, etc...
Give us an idea of what you're interested in and we'll take it from there.
