Tucson Rifle Club is hosting an M1 for Vets shoot next week!

M1 for Vets is a group of shooters who support wounded veterans getting into the shooting sports, as the name suggests, they got their start donating M1 Garand Rifles to vets.

This can be fired with any "service" rifle, modern or milsurp, US or foreign. It is a CMP style GSM shoot.

Tucson Rifle Club

“M1 For Vets” is a non-profit organization dedicated to financial and logistical support of returning Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and the Global War on Terror  combat injured veterans.

Competition open to: Any eligible competitor. You don’t have to be a member of NRA, CMP, or the sponsoring club.

Entry Fee: Adults $25. 00 Juniors $15.00.

Entries Close: Morning of the match.

Sign in at 0700 hrs. Firing Starts at 0800 hrs.

Rules: Current CMP rules.

Course of Fire: Any service rifles. All firing done at 200 yards. 5 sighters followed by 10 shots slow fire prone. 10 shots rapid fire prone. 10 shots rapid fire sitting/kneeling. 10 shots slow fire standing.

Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Vintage, Modern Military, and Unlimited.
Awards provided by American Legion Post 36 and Sons of American Legion Post 36.
