Lt. Governor Dan Patrick will have at least two Democratic Candidates running against him for relection in 2022.

Matthew Dowd - formerly an advisor & senior consultant for George W. Bush just announced his candidacy for the Lt. Governors Office against Dan Patrick.

& Mike Collier who ran & lost by about 5 points in the last election - still hasn't officially announced yet, but everyone knows he IS running again.

Matthew Dowd - who was a "republican" in the George W. Bush administration, but has gone Far hard left as a Democrat. Dowd says he is 100% targeting Dan Patrick like a pitbull, but won't ever speak ill against his Democrat Challenger.

Dowd has pledged to reverse - undo the Dan Patrick Agenda passed in the last legislative session, especially "Constitutional Carry".

Dowd had run the campaign for the last Democrat Lt. Governor Bob Bullock.

In 1999, Dowd switched parties to become a Republican.

During the 2002 midterm elections, Dowd was a senior adviser to the Republican National Committee.

During the 2004 presidential election, Dowd was chief strategist for George W. Bush's re-election campaign.

Dowd was the strategist for Arnold Schwarzenegger during his 2006 reelection campaign.

He has been a contributor to ABC News and often appeared on the news shows to voice his great displeasure with Republicans & their Policies.

2022 will be a VERY interesting year indeed!

We need to get UP, Get Organized & Get OUT the Vote, because the Democrats will do EVERYTHING possible to win the Governorship, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House & other gains that can completely California-ze our beloved Texas as a "Blue" Controlled state ...

Dan Patrick was a reluctant supporter of Constitutional Carry.  It wasn't on his Priorities List...

However, give him kudos for understanding a grass roots groundswell and knowing to paddle hard to catch that wave...

Getting him onboard was a big suprise, but he did come through to make Constitutional Carry a Reality for Texas.

Of course, the Democrats HATE that, and of course are super worked up about LGBTQ XYZ issues and the Abortion Bill.

Expect the Abortion Bill & LBGTQ issues to be HUGE fund raisers for any Democrat Candidate in Texas (LOTS of $$$$ will come from Rich Democrats outside of Texas), but "The Spice will Flow" especially in the Governor & Lt. Governor Races as getting a Democrat into Top Leadership in Texas is their wettest dream...

Patrick won by 5 points I believe in 18 - in a good Democrat year.  Next year is shaping up to be a terrible year for the Democrat party, as President Depends approaches below freezing approval numbers in the state of Texas.

Dowd will undoubtedly, as a former campaign manager, set up his campaign to be able to syphon / steal fund donated to him from rich leftists, and be set for life.

Don't doubt for a moment that Dowd will milk the donors & keep the cream...

I was not really a Dan Patrick Fan (his talk about no need to "fear the gun lobby" & support of Red Flag Laws), but he did step up for us in the Constitutional Carry battle, so I'll back him all the way this go 'round...

However, the Democrats WILL pull out ALL the stops to try to tilt Texas with gaining seats at the Top (Governor & Lt. Governor) thinking that the Texas Abortion Bill will weaken the "R" & strengthen the "D" ticket.
