Been thru a few hurricanes in eastern Virginia. Downed trees, power out. What preps you guys do for flooding?

Earlier this week, topped off the propane bottles, put a bunch of ice in the freezer. We already had plenty of bottled water and both vehicles were topped off with gas. I trimmed some branches back that were close to the roof.

Today: I bought a big ass bag of limes for home made margaritas.

not too much. We faired well In 2016 in the Denham Springs area. Hoping for less widespread flooding this time.

Vehicles are full and go bags are ready to roll.

Plenty of beer, wine, food, and some water.

I’m in Gonzales, I’m sure some folks won’t fair so well though. Will be ready to go help rescue by boat if need be. I’m concerned about Denham area and folks close to the Amite / Comite.

We don’t have a problem with crime / looting in our area really. However, as usual, the SR-15 and G17 will be providing security.
