Anyone have a recommendation for a GC in the area that's available and does quality work?

Looking for a partial kitchen remodel:

Recut granite countertops for a larger cooktop, and converting a double basin sink into a single basin.
Hang a new island range hood (will require running new electrical and ductwork- easy attic access /ranch home)
Replace existing wall oven with a new one. Cabinetry may need modification to accomodate modern standard dimensions.
Hang a set of french doors

I have a good friend who live West County, been a GC for easily 40 years and specializes in doing "nice" work.  Not waste all your money nice, but real people who work for their money nice.  I've had him do a fair amount of work on my house over the last 15 years.  I'll pm his info if interested.
