Been thinking the same thing. In fact, I was going to be contacting you here in the next month to talk to you about just that. I know you got the last Arfcom shoot together, and I was wanting to get some advice from you as I was wanting to get something put together for another shoot. I haven't talked to anyone at Knob Creek yet, but am going to be. I'll shoot you an IM later on when I get home. |

KY shoot? I'm in.

You are so right, Bob. Its hard to get these slugs to break suction and go shooting . I set up a AWB Sunset Shoot and posted right here. Had a 235yd, 10 position covered range all lined up all to ourselves. Three of us showed up. pcsutton set up a shoot, back in Febuary I believe, at Whittaker's Range near Owensboro. Four of us showed up. I think there or more people that like to talk about shooting then there are that actually shoot. |

Hello to all. I'm a new member from PRP in Jefferson County. I'm former Army, 11M20 Infantry (Hoo-ah!) and ETSed from Ft. Stewart May 2000. I've never owned a firearm but I'd like to get into the hobby sometime soon. I used to be pretty good on the M16 range and I've already found AR-15.com to be an invaluable resource.
I hope to meet some of you at the KCR shoot on Oct 28th, but I'll be late since my little boy plays his last soccer game of the season at 10 that day. |
Welcome to the site, Cottonbaler! You've definately come to the right place to learn about this, well I wouldn't call it a hobby per se, more like an obsession or a disease Please come out to the shoot and meet some of the members in your area, I think you'll be amazed how helpful and kind these folks can be. If you have any questions about guns and laws and such, you can get pretty much anything answered between this KY forum here, or any of the other technical forums here on ar15.com. |

Wow!!! I have a sig!

1+ for Franklin! I shoot at the BGSLINC.com if anybody wants to go to a IPSC or IDPA match!
Howdy STEEL1212. I and several others here also shoot out at the BGSL. This summer has been a very hectic one for me and have not made it to a single 3-gun event yet, but I'm joansing to get back into it. That 3-gun is a lot of fun, and it looks like the attendance has been very good this summer according to the monthly newsletter.
