Warfighter is in 5 months, and if you’re wanting to compete we can get you squared away before then. This is by design meant to have you ready for Warfighter in May and have you at Pioneer Candidate 2nd Class with only Personal fitness test required on your own. There are other events that may be added at a later time so please check back here. ALL of our hikes will be WEIGHTS only, no rifles. We will have the first hike at the Flint Hills Nature Trailhead near Council grove January 21st @ 1:00. The hike will be 6 miles, 3 out and 3 in. Its VERY flat and should be very manageable Location 2nd Hike will be February 26th @ 1:00 and will be on the Big Hill Lake Equestrian Trail slightly more difficult but we'll still plan on 6 miles. Location 3rd Hike will be March 26th at 1:00 and will be at the Konza Prairie Research Center. This will be a more difficult hike so I highly encourage you to NOT make this your first hike. Location In April we will have fieldcraft class covering - Shelter, fire, finding food, cover, concealment, movement, hazards and mitigation and more. This date has not been set yet, and will likely take place in either Texas or Missouri. Further details will be provided as they are cemented. Finally on the 6th of May starting at 1 we will have our land nav course in Colorado, and I highly HIGHLY recommend this one for folks wanting to take part in Warfighter if they have never completed land Nav before.
