KPDL, Kentuckiana Practical Defense League, is a practical shooting club that just passed our 40th birthday this summer. We do pistol, 3-gun, rimfire, backup gun matches with a sanctioned match the 2nd Saturday of every month except with the Machine Gun Shoot is ongoing. We have differing matches 3-4 Saturdays a month so something for everybody!
This Saturday, 2/13/2021 we have our monthly Practical Pistol Match (PPM) As with everything these days, masks are optional, stay home if you've been sick, don't rub up on people, etc. $10 to shoot the match, plus the Knob Creek range fee. Fancy website! ***Mention this post for a free AIR High-Five*** Registration is aprox 8.20a - 9.25a New shooter brief (required for all new to KPDL range) is around 8.45a We go hot at 9.30a Only person you're in competition with is your self, or your friend. We don't have purses, prize table, etc only bragging rights New Shooters are always welcomed and encouraged!! |

Can you provide some more info..
How many rounds required/recommended? Or is it simply just to come out and shoot? Thanks, definitely interested. |

Depends on how stages are setup, target count, etc. We have 5 stages and generally target count is 4-10 each stage (again designer setup) I bring 100 rounds to allow for missed shots and always bring some home. TL:DR come out and have fun |

Suppressors and weapon lights ok? @jasonTTKA The information about the morning is for our "normal" matches. For tomorrows match, 2/6/21, Registration is 5-6.30 and shooting around 7. Sorry about the confusion, I didn't proofread as well as I thought. Suppressors, weapon lights are welcome. If you don't have a holster for the suppressed lighted gun then we ask you to leave it in a bag/box unloaded until given command to uncase it. If you have any more questions let me know. |
