Lol, thanks fellas. I'm not freaking out, but she is. She's never lived south of the Mason Dixon line, so this kind of weather is super scary for her.
@Dagger41 I appreciate the maybe offer, and yes, I plan on enjoying working on a/my future boat. I built a couple offroad rigs from stock that I wheeled the hell out of, so I'm sure a lot of the fixing, troubleshooting, wiring and the like carries over to boats. Is there a Space Coast arfcom contingent that meets up? |

My brother lived off Newfound Harbor for a while and it was subject to flooding and long term power outages. Lee isn't coming, but if it did, load up a uhaul.

Good news is ... Lee probably won't hit you.
 Bad news is ... something eventually will hit Merrit Island like it has before ... think about where you are.  Evacuation is over the bridge so there is that. We almost moved there. "Almost" Really loved this place we almost bought in Pine Island but during our inspection we found massively serious problems. Really wanted that place but hey we ended up with something much better .... only it's north about 175 miles from there.  If I ever find a way to retire (yeah right), I might just sell everything and this place and move to a small quiet senior community on Merritt Island. Loved that place but just couldn't make it work .... yet. |
