I tried a local auction house in Ft Worth. It did work, but, took forever for not much return
TGT is a place full of scam artists - caveat emptor.
EE, people look. Nothing else it seems. I guess I'm not selling the right 6.5 ammo. Creedmore only in EE.

Anyone know of any consignment stores that work ?

Maybe Ammo Depot, but, it has changed over the years.

I used WarrenLiquidation in Ft Worth. A stand up guy.

Thanks, I never thought of Lee's. I'll try there.

I picture a table at a gun show being close to offering in EE for some reason.
Two days of lookie-lues coming to paw and feel, but, not buy.

Most people will not want to buy ammo that's not sealed in original packaging. The risk of getting Bubba's Pissin' Hot Handloads is too great.

I didn't see your 6.5 ad in the EE.

Please send me an IM with the details.

Thanks

What Bud Said!

ARFCOM E.E. is free and if you look at the other persons time on board & E.E. feedback, you can be sure you are dealing with a square shooter and not some thief or flake.

I so agree. Selling ammo to total strangers - just not for me.

I know that some of the ammo vendors at the DFW gun shows will buy ammo.

I watched a guy wheel in a cart full and sell it to a vendor at the NRH show over the summer.

I personally would try to wait it out to get closer to the election and see if there is another ammo rush before selling.
I unloaded all my old wolf 223 steel case and my Tula steel 9mm during the 2020 craziness and made out very well just bringing it to the gun show.

It's a 99% chance the ammo you sell is going to be to a stranger.

The dealer? Probably a stranger

The auction company? Also probably a stranger

The biggest difference is what exactly are you selling and what are you selling it for and why did it not sell.

9 mm full metal jacket at a decent price? That will sell.

Boutique/bougie caliber expensive rifle ammunition? You might be sitting on that for a while.

Just like I could sell spare magazines for a Glock everyday of the week, but try to sell something a little more unique? That's going to take a little longer.

the EE is the way to go. the economy is in the shitter right now and there's mass layoffs across many sectors so things will either move slow or move for less money than intended. that's just the nature of the beast.

like some one said above, if you hang onto it longer, election year fuckery will kick in and probably help your sale

EE with being open to shipping, and Gunbroker.  UPS can pick up ORM-D directly from your doorstep.
GB will help you find the right price.  If people want to pay retail prices they will go to a store.

Honestly, I'd hang onto it and wait for the inevitible panic before the election.

I have purchased ammo from the OP.

Exactly what he advertised, price was fair and the meet was easy.

Would deal again.
