I'm a little brain dead at the moment, so I am having difficulty uploading the pdf of the ruling.

So those of us that had to renew the past few months will get refunds, right?
Of course I paid mine yesterday finally
I was told at the counter no refunds when it finally lifted |
Sweet, mine need renewed in early April, better get them done before they fuck us again.
FINALLY, I found an article on this.
Strange how the major media is being quiet about this.... Link Per the article, you may want to get any tabs renewed a.s.a.p. As the judges’s decision is most likely headed to appellate court. |

Just wait until they use this as an excuse to raise the gas tax or implement a pay by mile tax...

Still showing $85 for my truck on the DOL website. They better figure this shit out before the 7th

So I have a window of time to get my $30 tabs before they rocket up??

I live in Dupont, just inside Pierce Co. I have two cars coming up for Tabs in June. Hope I don't have to pay full rate...one of them is a 1-year old 2019.

Oooooooohhhh......you guys are paying that bullshit transit tax View Quote I should have kept my mouth shut and just took the 60 for 1 year, but I was close enough to get 2yrs so figured Id just get it out of the way. For some reason the girl felt the need to fk with my address and it jumped to just over 200 for 2yrs. And this is on a car that has never even seen WA. Ill def be watching for a refund lol |
Happy to be RTA free. Sound Transit should be dissolved. It's the taxation equivalent of a pestilence.
Fuck the RTA remember when even fucking Seattle "leftwing" Times recommended voting against it due to to the lack of accountability and it still passed . My cars get registered at my parents address...

Quoted: Send in $30 or don't renew. From what I've been reading, cops are only going to respond to life threatening calls. Not like they'll be running plates. If they do and they stop you for your plate, start coughing and sneezing uncontrollably. Wait for LEO to ass-out. View Quote Mailed in a check for $30, they sent it back with an info sheet. I keep all that in the truck in case I get pulled over. It's only been expired since December though What sucks is they won't start the clock on the renewal when I finally pay it. The expiration date will be the same as if I had paid when it was due |
I called thy local license bureau -
$30 tabs? Nope. Idk wtf, but it's not happening |
Just paid $151 for mine, but its a new to me car so there was a bunch of licencing, plate, and title fees. Looks like the normal stuff was $75.

The injunction doesn't get lifted until the 27th. Buy after the 27th.
Ok there is another hearing today.
We will see if we get to keep the $30 or not. |
Still $400, will check mine again tomorrow, they expire next month so got a little time
The tags on my trailer expired yesterday but i'm holding off until I see what is happening with this. I'm not taking it anywhere in the next few weeks anyway.

So saw this on the book of face and my conclusion is FUCK BOB FERGUSON and the corrupt judges of this state.
None of us will be getting $30 tabs. It was supposed to happen today. It didn't. Why? Because of Bob Ferguson. If he had filed his response on Wednesday like attorney Stephen Pidgeon did, it would have taken an action by the supreme court to extend the injunction and they would've had to issue their ruling by 9 am Friday, but because AG Bob Ferguson didn't file his response until 9am Friday. That gave Seattle's attorneys the chance to go back to King County (the county that AG Bob Ferguson didn't move the case out of) and back to Judge Ferguson (the judge that AG Bob Ferguson didn't affidavit) to request "an emergency extension" of the injunction until the supreme court decides the case. I just learned that Judge Ferguson granted Seattle's request. Doing that allowed the supreme court to avoid overruling his decision which was that I-976 is constitutional. So no $30 tabs for anyone for at least another year. Attached File |

Fuck that piece of shit and fuck this state, god I can’t wait to move to Arizona
Hmm, so no real need to renew any of my tabs then
Also fuck Bob Ferguson. Not for this but for every other shithead thing he's done. |

Quoted: normal price still online for me today View Quote Yep. Just did a few of mine. Any of you boys old enough to remember what they used to cost back in the '90s?? It was ridiculous. I moved to AK in '99 so I missed everything that happened, and then when I moved back recently, I felt like they are super cheap |

Quoted: Hopefully not for cheap car registration, because they have st3-like fees for the whole state. A $25k vehicle costs over $400 to register View Quote No it’s for many reasons, freedom is still allowed there and it’s not being turned into a giant homeless shelter, and the weather is a lot better |
In my case a lot of my cars the tickets are cheaper than the tabs. Some of which I could get multiple tickets and still not add up to the tabs.
Currently have 2 our of 6 that are out of date. Fuck these tards and turd Ferguson. |

Inside IS rediculous Imagine the RTA rates being statewide. That is basically what the previous MVET was. In 1993 we paid $600 for tabs on a new Suburban. In 1997 it was still $450 so I registered that Suburban in TX while I was there on a short term transfer. I think it was 1999 that the first $30 car tab initiative passed and I re-registered in WA. |

Yes. MVET was terrible back then, before my time fortunately. Better off having 2 or 3 beaters than paying the bill on a new car
