Kate Brownshirt (AKA Ernst Rohm) will absolutely direct her legislative minions to make a ban happen. Don't be afraid to flood their offices with emails and calls opposing any restrictions. Squeaky wheel and all that . . .

Does Brown have the legal ability to drop the ban hammer on a whim if the other options like this fail to produce the result they want?

Personally I think they dropped it. So as not to energize the gun owners and possibly lose the legislature or governor seat. Keep the pressure on and vote in Nov. Plus let’s start a pro-second ballot measure. Make the state more gun friendly!

I heard tonight that it's dead for this year (According to the sponsors) but that they'll try and bring it back for next year.
