Dropped wife at airport this morning. Son and I figured we would zip in to the gunshow in Sandy. It was around 0930 and show opened at 9. Figured it would be easy parking. WRONG. Lot was full and there were signs for extra parking across the street for $5. Lots of women walking from parking lot and circling for spaces. WTF. See the sign for a Pinners show. My son explains it's a Pinterest thing. I'm tired of trying to go to the gunshow and there's always some damn bridal show or scrapbook convention at the same time. I'm done! Won't even drive down from Ogden again for another show just to circle the lot and give up. Screw it!

I have never been to Crossroads but I do enjoy the collector's show in Ogden and typically go once per year, although they did make me unload my concealed firearm last year.  Not sure if I will be going back.

I like the Ogden show. Neat displays and I enjoy talking with some of the collectors. It is a different experience than the big shows.

Utah Gun Exchange had their own show a couple months ago.  I didn't go but it had to be better than Crossroads.

I usually park at the mall across the street.

I went to one that was at the same time as a bridal or Christmas tree show.
That was a total joke, once i found a parking spot some guy offered me $20 for it.

I laughed as i spent over an hour trying to get my spot.

I didn't go to this show, but the one before was total and complete shit.  Literally the worst show I've ever been to.

Serves you right for going to a gunshow in 2018!

Ok, jokes aside.  WHY?  I think gun shows have been pure trash since before I was born.  Even places like Cabelas can beat gunshow prices and if you aren't a total dinosaur and know how to buy guns online, you can EASILY do better than Cabelas pricing
