Mainly steel and aluminum bar. I know of places to get fresh cut stock but, I’m looking more for a place to browse remnants/drops/scrap and get it for cheap.

In high school shop we had shelves and bins of scrap from leftovers and other kids failures that we could pick from. Something similar to that would be great.

I've gone to Metal Supermarkets a few miles from the Appliance Factory a few times. Good guys, offer machining services for $30/hr for the work you can't do, and has a bargain cut off section
