The crazy LMPD police chief is always talking about "illegal" guns.    What are "illegal" guns?    Exactly what kind of gun is "illegal" in Kentucky?    Most stolen guns are not "illegal".   The person possessing a stolen gun or stealing guns is "illegal" (a person involved in criminal activity).   The guns themselves are still the legal property of some entity.

Guns cannot be the focus.    Criminals must be the focus.   Gangs and druggies are behind most of the crime in Loserville.   Those who steal guns and/or possess stolen guns must be the focus.     What are some formats (sources of media) where we as common sense people can call out the stupidity/foolishness of the LMPD police chief?   Are any of the formats "free", that is open to comment?   The Loserville Courier Journal certainly is not open.     How do we go about calling out this craziness and corrupt politicians, such as the LMPD police chief, who is on an antigun witch hunt?

In her world, there is no difference between a gang member killing another gang member in a turf war and a law abiding gun owner killing a felon attacking his family. Same thing. One person shoots another with a gun. The gun is the common denominator. The gun is the cause of both. Same thinking as when they object to reselling guns used in crime. They want them destroyed as if that would stop crime in any way. What good is done by destroying a single gun with 500 million of them in this country? Why not sell them to a law abiding citizen. The gun is not the problem. It is the person holding the gun that might be the problem.

Hasn't she done enough to discredit herself by displaying the same amount of leadership and character as Petrino? We couldn't find an EEOC gay woman that was already in LMPD?

My employees are shit. Go riot and loot the city.
In May 2020, amid protests in Atlanta in response to the killing of George Floyd, Shields said that the angry reaction was understandable, and that the value of the lives of black people was being diminished by police or other individuals, stating that such events were a "recurring narrative". She added with some suggestions on how police could do better, namely better training and "weeding out bad cops", and praised the use of body-worn cameras.
Shields addressed demonstrators stating that she was happy to allow protests so long as they didn't violate laws. She stated her opposition to using force to halt the protests, stating that protestors have a right "to be upset, to be scared, and to want to yell".

Wait, I'm the Chief and need to lead the dept? Naww, I quit.
On June 13, 2020, Shields resigned after a video went viral of an officer fatally shooting a black man, Rayshard Brooks, who resisted arrest.

Well, the city where she now commands the police force has just recorded its 100th murder of the year before the end of six full months. That has never happened before in the history of the city. This and the murders yet to come on an almost daily schedule should be enough to discredit the chief. Just a few years ago 100 murders seemed an unthinkable number for an entire year. We don't have to do a thing. She will do it all by herself. LMPD is now down by 241 officers, and dropping fast. Who would want to work for LMPD when they could go to one of the outlying jurisdictions where it is relatively peaceful, they would be respected and they would make more money? Shelbyville is hiring. Bardstown is hiring. New Albany is hiring. Brandenburg is hiring. Middletown is hiring. Probably not going to be indicted for murder at any of those places. Just frown at a BLM member in Louisville and go to jail for assault. Who would want to work there?

ETA: Scratch Middletown from that list. You would still have to worry about a Jefferson Co. Grand Jury, prosecutor , judge and petit jury.

I don't think there is a decent/respectable judge left in the Metro Loserville area of KY.
