Inc. silencer for .308 caliber firearms on Nov. 8, 2017, according to a federal indictment. The firearm device, marked with the Leadfoot logo, allegedly was not registered with the ATF.
Melton was taken into custody without incident by Holdrege police and was being housed in the Phelps County Jail pending transport, the press release says. No bond has been set at this time. A preliminary court date is set for Friday in federal court in Lincoln. |

Not exactly painting a good picture of this gentleman are they? Sounds like a hothead. But as we all know the media can be misleading.

Suppressors huh. When the story broke on the news a few weeks ago my shooting buddies and I were wondering what the back story was. We were all guessing that he'd been shooting an illegal mg around the wrong person. I grew up and still live just down the road from Holdrege, don't know the guy though I probably seen him at the Holdrege fun show.
