Front page of the Oregonian, hopefully Knute will be the next governor although he's anathema to conservatives in the state.

I don't know who to vote for.
Knute wants a waiting period on gun purchases (he did vote no in the past, so do not know why he supports now), which will pass since he is republican so there will be bipartisan support for this. or Kate brown who wants a magazine ban but has no bipartisan support. Buhler quote from Oregonian- Buehler listed several other gun safety regulations he would support. “I’m certainly for common sense gun legislation, such as banning bump stocks, restricting those under 21 from not buying assault weapons and a three-day waiting period on hand gun purchases,” he said. “Those kinds of laws would make a difference, and have in other places, to decrease gun related violence.” |

Knute is not going to be any worse than Brown. If he wins he will be easier to work with to protect our interests than Brown any day of the week.
