I live Jackson county and want to exercise. However, I hate exercise but I figure hiking may be more enjoyable.

I can't find any trails around my area and much less, websites that show any trails around. Since this is a weekend thing, I am willing to drive about an hour.

Kilen Woods State Park in the Des Moines River Valley has good trails (woods, prairie). NW of Jackson, MN is your closest option. Smallest State Park in MN. For SW MN it has some good hiking.

Iowa has some trails around the Big Spirit and Okoboji as well as Gull Point State Park is there.

Blue Mound State Park, Luverne- buffalo, native prairie Red rock
Minneopa State Park, Mankato- buffalo, waterfall
Lake Shetek State Park, Slayton- Not been

MN State Parks Pass is $35 for a year.
