Wading involves TVA as far as if they are generating or not. The Hiwassee comes out of Apalachia dam not Hiwassee dam by the way. TVA has a free app you can add to your smart phone but be aware they do alter the schedule and depending on your exact location will take longer or shorter to reach you. The flow also comes out at the powerhouse several miles below the dam. Right now they’re running the piss out of it so wading is out. If fishing from the bank be very careful, you fall in and you’re gone.

I may go on downstream to the Hiwassee or some of the tributaries. Thanks man!
I'm familiar with TVA generation schedules from fishing below Center Hill, Tim's Ford, and Normandy. |
