That last one looked to have been run over by somebody, I didn’t ded that one. The others made the mistake of letting me see them. This property is frequented by kids and dogs, so if they are venomous, they die. When out in the woods, I keep my distance and maybe take a picture.

I don’t mind at all. A Herpetologist I am not. Whatever it was, I was too tired to go around, so I just stepped over it. Growing up with so much time in the woods, it took me .00001 seconds to see it wasn’t venomous.

Cool! I didn’t want to come across as pretentious.

They’re pretty cool. Look just like a snake but they have eyelids and visible eardrums. Also their tail is about 2/3rds of their body, and they can drop it if you pick them up by it.

I like seeing them in the wild, provided I see them from a ways away and don't startle one/have it startle me. Better than seeing rats and mice run everywhere, but if it's in the yard... dead

Not sure where I took that one. It was either Lake Kissimmee SP or Rainbow Springs SP. I saw
and took pictures one in each place. I believe the latter. I tromped through the woods for 45
years and never saw one then saw two in two years.
