I got a deal on a pistol (G'broker), and can't find an FFL that will receive a shipped firearm from an individual.
Any recommendations?

Depending on how far away you are, Firing Line in Moody treated me well when I had them receive from an individual.

Bill McDonald at Stewart Solutions in Leeds.  They just need to furnish a copy of their government photo ID so he can log it in per the ATF rules.

Most FFLs will do it. It all comes down to a matter of cost, convenience and how much you trust the FFL.

I'm pretty sure Nichols Outfitters in Pelham will handle it for you

Be forewarned, the FFL may have to hold the firearm for 14 days when receiving from an individual. Apparently this is done to check S/N against stolen gun databases or the like. I recently bought a lower receiver from another ARFCOM member and had to wait for 2 weeks after delivery before I could take possession.

Good luck.

Not a legal requirement, that is a policy of the shop in question.

I used to work at a pawn shop with an FFL and thought that only pertained to pawn shops that sell guns.

Bill is good people.

Depending on where you are, but I’ve used JMR in the NAPA in Columbiana before with no issues. It was from a dealer but they seemed pretty laid back.

As a heads up Bill no longer does NFA transfers. I've been using Nichols Outfitters for those and have been happy with the service. They have a hell of a shop too.

Doesn't look like much from the outside -- but go in and up the stairs and -- well, just go by and see  :)
