OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Officials with the Eglin Air Force Base say residents may experience some technical difficulties during some flight operations this coming week.

According to a press release, people near the base may experience GPS interruptions when the U.S. Navy Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two One conducts flight operations from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on April 1-12.

Interruptions may be seen on ground-based navigation, electronic devices, and smartphone apps using GPS, the release states.

GPS reliability is set to resume after 5:30 a.m.
