It flew low over Centerville near Costco. I believe it was either a DC-6 or DC-7 in some airline livery.

Anyone see it?

My google fails me. Can’t find anything about one of either still flying that is painted the way this one was.

Plain metal with red stripes with some sort of zig-zag design near the front.

All I know it was was a low wing transport type aircraft with four radials.

It’s the Berlin Airlift Foundation C-54/DC-4. Nothing on the June schedule for appearances though.

Could be.

While I like the sound of V-12's, there's something special about the rumble of radials. Especially when there are multiples of them.
