Submachinegun Match Where: Magnum Shooting Range 4934 Duck Creek Rd Sanger TX 76266 (940)458-7000 Nov. 20, Jan. 22, Feb. 26, March 26, April 23, May 21 The match will be rain or shine, so bring appropriate beverages, food and clothes. What to bring: You will need at least 4 20rd+ magazines, a MagPouch, and at least 300rds of ammo. Oh Yea, and a SMG with appropriate form (3,4,5, ect.). This match is designed to be fun/educational. It will be challenging enough for the experienced shooter and simple enough for the novice. All are welcome! Due to time restraints we can only accommodate 40 shooters. First come, first serve. Match fee is $25 per person and $15 per additional gun. Due to the use of steel targets only pistol caliber SMGs will be allowed Sign in is at 8:30am and will start shooting promptly at 9:00am. Per Chris last Saturday:
I spoke with Lou over at the range this morning and its a mess do to all the rain and snow. Seeing as it is supposed to rain late next week also we decided it is best to cancel the match next weekend. The March match is still. Best, Chris |

Don't have a SMG but do have a SBR'd CavArms AR in .45 ACP.
Are those legit for this? |

I do hope my schedule starts to free soon so I can get back to shooting this match, but with kid #2 on the way not sure that's going to happen.

Are there any other sub-gun or full auto matches in Texas? I’m in central Texas and I am reluctant to make a 4 hour drive for a match that I may or may not get to participate in.
