Looking at coming for a week.
It's my first time coming, and at such a long event. Thinking an air bnb may be good.

Any tips on where to stay?

Also considering renting a RV and trying to camp in a truck stop or streets. Think it's likely I'll get messed with/caught?

Book now or forever hold your peace. You probably should have booked last year.

There are places to park an RV but they too will be filled if they aren't already. Either way, anything close to the park will be booked or stupid expensive. You can get around tow pretty quickly despite traffic.

I am only going to one concert this year and it's the last day. I prefer to go on the rodeo nights versus most concerts. Wife is buying our tickets today. There is a parking lot where the $10 fee gets you entrance into the grounds and a shuttle to avoid the crowds.

I live on the southeast side of town. There's not really an RV park close, but you might be able to street park in front of my place.

This is our first year here, and part of me is excited. But the part of me who hates big crowds and all the associated hoopla isn’t lol.

I got one concert and two rodeo nights booked. Thinking I may throw on some more rodeo nights, but if any arfcommers are in the area maybe we can hangout one day.

I think PBR is the Monday Tuesday. At least it was last year.
eta Yep. PBR on the 24th/ 25th. I'm not going to anything until the 29th. I'm seeing Zach Bryan the week before in Montana.

Got my PBR tickets. Trying to decide if I want to be there all ten days, or not. Thus far shooting for about 4-5 days, figure itll be enough and I can checkout other stuff in wyoming too.

I'm thinking 3 days at the event will be good. I'll do another couple around cheyenne, and another couple in laramie.

So with that in mind what must I see in Wyoming?

Wyoming is a big state with lots to see. A couple days on that stretch of 80, you can do whatever you feel like. Just depends on what that is.

If you're booking now?

You should probably start looking in Fort Collins or Denver.
