I'll cook brats and burgers for lunch. We can eat in the feasthall. Part of the hike will be 1.5 miles down the county rd and back. It's flat and should make time for those who need the 3 miles for provisional status with the remaining 3 miles being through internal roads on the property. Down to a 20 percent chance of rain. 81 for the high, 60 for the low. Its going to be a nice day for a hike.
There are 4 of us committed to the hike. 3 of us Made the 1st Florida Panhandle Battle buddy hike. Id love to see some more people. The purpose of the battle buddy program is 2 fold. To get ourselves in better shape as well as to network amongst each other. Virginia was a beautiful thing, on a grass roots level that I doubt has been seen since the revolution. I cant see the 2nd amendment surviving in America with todays political climate without this level of teamwork and networking. Come out and Hike. Or come out and Network. For sure come out and eat some Burgers. Just come out. Damon  " />
@Bama-carry @Gunham @87GMC4x4 @Para069 Just as a reminder, you can do the 3 mile or 6 mile hike. 3 miles will get you a provisional rating and earn entry as an official battle buddy. 6miles will get you the first of the 3 hikes you need (and hopefully continue getting) to get your third class rating!!! |
