Coming down to visit my inlaws June 11-14 and was thinking about bringing some fishing gear with. Anybody know if the catfishing is any good right now on Clinton lake or any other spots around the Lawrence or Ottawa area? I don't have a boat so it would be strictly bank fishing. Also would be interested in catching some bass if they are biting. My inlaws don't fish so they aren't of any help on current conditions.

Thanks. Looks like the fishing is pretty dead right now, I'll probably just leave the pole at home at bring my rifle instead.
